Appointment of Non-Executive Director

AFC Energy (AIM: AFC), a leading provider of hydrogen power generation technologies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Monika Biddulph as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

Monika, who holds a PhD in Experimental High Energy Physics from the ETH Zurich, brings over 20 years' experience in both technical and commercial areas within international technology businesses including general management, IP licensing, marketing and technical roles. Until August 2018, Monika was a member of the Senior Leadership Team IP Product Groups at Arm Holdings plc.

Monika is an experienced non-executive director in the technology sector and her current roles are with Ilika plc. and D4t4 Solutions plc., and she was previously on the Board of Linaro Limited.

Commenting on the appointment, Gary Bullard, Non-Executive Chair at AFC Energy, said:

Pursuant to Schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies the following is disclosed in relation to Monika Biddulph.

Monika Biddulph, aged 55, is currently a director of Ilika plc, D4t4 Solutions plc and Mbiddulph Limited.

Ms Biddulph does not currently hold any shares in, or options over shares in, the capital of the Company.

Save as set out above, there is no further information required to be disclosed pursuant to Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
