BOARD CHANGE

Burberry Group plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Alexander Lacik has been appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director and member of the Nomination Committee, with effect from 1 September 2026.  

From 2019 to March 2026, Alexander served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Pandora where he led the company's strategic transformation, delivering a sustained period of profitable growth. Alexander also strengthened Pandora's position as the world's largest jewellery brand through brand elevation, product innovation, digital growth and operational excellence. He also has experience in sustainability innovation, gained through his role at Aerbio. 

Alexander is currently a Non-Executive Director of Essity AB, a global hygiene and health business listed in Sweden, and is also a Non-Executive Director of Aerbio, a biotech company headquartered in Denmark. Alexander was previously a Non-Executive Director of Swedish Match AB from 2020 to 2023. Prior to joining Pandora, he held a number of senior international leadership positions at Reckitt Benckiser and Procter and Gamble, building more than 30 years of experience in global consumer and discretionary consumer brands.

The Company confirms there is no further information to be disclosed pursuant to UK LR 6.4.8R in relation to Alexander Lacik's appointment.
