Luberef is one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-quality base oils and a virgin base oil producer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Founded in 1976 in Jeddah, Luberef was originally established as a joint venture between Petromin and Mobil that today stands as a pioneer in the base oils sector.
From our two facilities in Yanbu and Jeddah, we have a combined capacity to produce 1.3 million metric tonnes per annum of base oils for the use in high value branded lubricants, primarily for the automotive, marine, and industrial sectors.
Today, Luberef is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco (70%) and Jadwa Industrial Investment Company (30%).
