ALMA MEDIA HAS ACQUIRED FULL OWNERSHIP OF DOKS SERVICE
Alma Media Oyj has increased its ownership of Suomen Tunnistetieto Oy to 100 percent. Suomen Tunnistetieto's DOKS service provides an efficient and secure digital tool for fulfilling anti-money laundering obligations, sanctions monitoring, and generally for customer identification and verification (Know Your Customer, KYC process).
The DOKS service was launched in 2019. Alma Media Oyj has gradually increased its ownership of the company: the first 25% was acquired in the summer of 2021, ownership rose to 51% in April 2023, and a year later to 75%. The recently completed share transaction is the final phase of the acquisition.
