Local Shopping REIT PLC - Transactions in Own Shares


Local Shopping REIT PLC announces that on 11 January 2008 it purchased from
JPMorgan Cazenove Limited 600,000 ordinary shares at a price of 101 pence per
share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above
purchase, Local Shopping REIT PLC holds 7,553,750 ordinary shares in treasury
and has 93,539,040 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
