Local Shopping REIT PLC - Transactions in Own Shares

Local Shopping REIT PLC announces that on 1 November 2007 it purchased from
JPMorgan Cazenove Limited 1,000,000 ordinary shares at a price of 125 pence per
share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above
purchase, Local Shopping REIT PLC holds 6,253,750 ordinary shares in treasury
and has 94,239,040 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
