Local Shopping REIT PLC announces that on 27 September 2007 it purchased from
JPMorgan Cazenove Limited 500,000 ordinary shares at a price of 127 pence per
share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above
purchase, Local Shopping REIT PLC holds 2,953,750 ordinary shares in treasury
and has 97,539,040 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
