Local Shopping REIT PLC announces that on 23 August 2007 it purchased from
JPMorgan Cazenove Limited 63,750 ordinary shares at a price of 121.5686 pence
per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the
above purchase, Local Shopping REIT PLC holds 63,750 ordinary shares in treasury
and has 96,531,794 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
