The Local Shopping REIT plc ("the Company") confirms that following the
allotment and admission to the UK Official List on 29 August 2007 of 3,897,246
of the Company's ordinary shares of nominal value of 20 pence in respect of the
Company's acquisition of Gilfin Property Holdings Limited (announced via RNS on
23 August 2007), the total number of the Company's shares in issue is
100,492,790 ordinary shares of nominal value of 20 pence.  This figure includes
63,750 ordinary shares held in treasury.  Accordingly, the total number of voting
rights in the Company in issue is now 100,429,040.
