The Advanced Materials business group produces high-purity metals, alloys, compounds and engineered products based primarily on cobalt and germanium. The business group is composed of two business units: Cobalt Specialty Materials and Electro-Optic Materials) and also comprises a 40% shareholding in Element Six Abrasives – a joint venture with Element Six.
